Description

Soaking (No Jetting)

The Transfer30 is a premium safety tub, crafted for comfort, convenience, accessibility, and functionality. Many customers prefer the L-shaped door over the U-shaped door for a roomier experience, as it swings outward. However, if your bathroom layout restricts an outswing door, an inward-swinging walk-in tub may be a better fit. The images show the Air + Hydro Massage jetting option with a 5-piece fast-fill faucet, right-hand door, and drain position. For more jetting options, check the “Therapy & Therapy Options” tab. The Transfer30 tub shell is constructed from premium acrylic with a glossy white finish, reinforced by a stainless-steel frame, adjustable leveling legs, and fiberglass gel coat layers. Its nonporous surface is resistant to mold and mildew, making it easy to clean. Safety features include a textured floor, low step-in threshold, and two chrome-finished U-shaped stainless steel grab bars—one deck-mounted and one wall-mounted—for secure and easy entry and exit.

This standard walk-in tub measures 30”W x 52”L and includes a 22” wide seat for comfort. A key feature is the 36” wide aluminum L-shaped outward-swinging door, allowing easy access. The L-shaped design ensures the door clears a 21” tall toilet, providing a wide entry for smooth wheelchair transitions into the tub seat. Inside, the door has a rubber handle for easy closing, and a 2-latch gear and shaft-driven lock system hidden under a decorative acrylic cover. This system provides a secure, watertight seal that outperforms traditional single latch/lever locks.

The Transfer30 also incorporates Dual Drain Technology with two independent 2” gravity-driven drains, four 2” outlets, two overflows, and two drain openers, ensuring rapid, efficient drainage. Two caps are included to cover up to two of the four ports as needed. The 2” drain outlets connect to the standard 1 ½” house drain using a T or Y fitting; professional plumbing is recommended for optimal installation. For the fastest drainage, connecting all four outlets to the house drain is ideal, with typical drainage time around +/- 80 seconds under optimal plumbing conditions. Unlike electric pumps, Ella’s gravity-driven dual drains remain dependable during power outages.

This model includes a reversible end panel for left or right corner installations and an extension panel kit for 60” alcove installations, providing a finished look. Additional panels are available for freestanding installations.

The Ella 2 Piece Fast Fill Faucet with pull out multi-function hand shower is perfect for your walk in bathtub or any bathtub where fill time matters. The fast fill 2 piece fills at a rate of up to 18 GPM (gallons per minute) based on in house plumbing conditions. If desired, the pull out hand shower can be used for shower while the bathtub is filled to stay warm. Available in a Chrome or Brushed Nickel finish.

3. Complete Shower Column For Deck Mounted Faucets

The Shower Column Kit connects to a diverter on an Ella brand 2 or 5 piece deck mounted faucet in order to create an extended overhead shower. The stainless steel, chrome finish column can be effortlessly adjusted up to 7 feet tall. Along the column is a vertically movable, 5 mode multi-functional hand shower, and attached at the top is an oversize rain shower that can be directed with ease to the seat for a seated shower or footwell for a stand up shower. This shower column kit replaces the need for a wall-mounted showerhead.

Optional Features

1. Controller Options

We offer two control options: Push Control or Digital Control. Our Push Controls are easy-to-use push down buttons that will operate your chosen jetting and any additional features.

The digital control is our more modern option, giving you a digital keypad from which to control your jets and additional features such as Chromatherapy LEDs and heated seat & backrest. Since the Digital Control is smaller, it may be more difficult for elderly to see and operate.

2. Ella 4-Fold Glass Shower Screen in Chrome Finish for Walk-In Tubs

The Ella brand 4-fold shower screen is the best option in the industry for walk-in tubs because of the foldable feature that’s not offered with a standard shower glass or curtains. This gives bathers an airy, open feeling with the option to easily push the screen aside. The lightweight glass, secured in an aluminum frame with quality gear hinges, is sturdy enough to endure rigorous daily use. Additionally, one of the 4-fold sections can be removed to create a 3-fold shower screen.

3. Standard Seat Pillow Riser

The Standard Seat Pillow Riser is designed to cover the bidet jets found in your Ella walk-in bathtub. This luxuriously thick pillow is incredibly comfortable and can be used as a riser or additional seat support in all walk in bathtubs. The interior material is washable and can be removed.

4. U-Shape Seat Pillow Riser

Our dual massage walk-in tubs have two air jets in the center of the seat. The U shape pillow is designed to accommodate these two bidet jets. If you want to cover bidet jets, you can utilize the regular seat pillow. This luxuriously thick pillow is incredibly comfortable and can be used as riser or additional seat support in all walk in bathtubs. The interior material is washable and can be removed.
