Replacing the Air Pump
1. Turn off GFCI Breaker
2. Disconnect the power supply to the air pump from the circuit board
3. This photo shows the three wires disconnected from the circuit board
4. Pull out the electric chord from the electric box
5. In order to have complete access to the air pump, the electric box needs to be dismantled from the tub’s frame
6. Remove the two bolts located between the tub’s electric box and metal frame.
7. This photo shows the electric box dismantled and set down with the air pump ready to be worked on
8. Disconnect the air output tube from the pump by turning the nut the left
9. The air tube nut is hand tightened therefore no special tool is needed
10. Disconnect the push-control air-hose from the switch on the air pump
11. DO NOT pull off the hose from push control located at tub desk otherwise it will be complicated to reconnect
12. Using a 10mm wrench remove the four bolts that hold the pump in place to the tub’s frame
13. This photo shows the pump being unbolted from the tub’s frame
14. After the pump is fully disconnected, it can be retrieved through the access panel
